Fabric Care

'Sarees are timeless, however their quality depends on how you take care of them'
1. It is recommended to air-dry your saree after use and store in a cool, dry place avoiding sunlight.
2. It is best to roll the saree instead of hanging it, as doing this can lead to deformation, creasing or stretching of the fabric.
3. We suggest that you wrap your sarees in a muslin cloth to avoid insect damage or moisture build-up.
4. Do not wash your saree until you have worn it a few times, over washing can ruin the fabric quality.
5. To wash a saree, start with a cold water basin and a mild detergent.
6. Gently swish the fabric for a few minutes, focusing on the dirty areas, then rinse thoroughly with cold water until all soap has disappeared.
7. For cotton sarees, use a diluted fabric stiffener every second wash, this keeps the saree crisp and long-lasting.
8. Avoid ironing too often as excess heat weakens the threads of the saree.
9. It is generally recommended to steam your sarees at a safe distance to avoid any heat damage.
